| Obverse description | Laureate, draped, and cuirassed half-length bust of Emperor Trajan facing right, depicted nude with drapery over the left shoulder, presented in the heroic imperial manner typical of Alexandrian provincial coinage. The effigy displays fine portraiture characteristic of Trajanic numismatic art, with the laureate wreath clearly rendered around the head.
