| Obverse description | Radiate and cuirassed bust of Emperor Septimius Severus facing right, depicted from the front in three-quarter view, with the radiate crown's spikes clearly rendered and the segmented cuirass visible at the shoulder. The effigy is boldly struck within a beaded border, occupying the central field. The surrounding Greek legend is distributed around the periphery, reading partially visible due to the irregular flan. The portrait reflects the provincial die-cutting tradition of Bithynia, with strong, schematic facial features characteristic of Severan-era civic coinage. |
