| Obverse description | Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust of Septimius Severus facing right, seen from the rear, with the paludamentum visible at the left shoulder. The emperor's characteristic curly beard and strongly modeled facial features are rendered in the provincial style. The encircling Greek imperial legend runs clockwise around the portrait within a beaded border. The bust is rendered with considerable relief and confident engraving typical of Pisidian civic coinage of the Severan period. |

| Reverse description | Dionysus standing facing, head turned to left, depicted nude or semi-draped in the classical manner. In his right hand he holds a cantharus (wine cup) and in his left a thyrsus (staff of the god), the attribute emblematic of his cult. A panther, sacred animal of Dionysus, stands to the left at his feet, looking up toward the deity. The reverse type reflects the civic and religious identity of Colbasa and its devotion to the Dionysiac cult. The ethnic legend is inscribed in the field. |
