| Obverse description | Draped bust of Lucilla facing right, rendered in the provincial Alexandrian style with softly modeled features. The portrait shows the empress with her characteristic elaborate coiffure, with drapery visible at the shoulder. The surrounding Greek legend identifies her as Augusta and daughter of the deified Antoninus Pius. The coin exhibits heavy patination with areas of green encrustation obscuring portions of the design and legend. |
