| Obverse description | Radiate, draped, and cuirassed bust of Emperor Gordian III facing right, depicted from a three-quarter rear perspective, a characteristic convention of the Bithynian provincial series. The radiate crown is rendered with prominent rays, and the paludamentum is visible over the cuirass at the shoulder. A beaded border frames the design. The Greek imperial titulature legend runs clockwise around the periphery of the flan. |

| Reverse description | Zeus enthroned to the left, his semi-draped figure rendered with classical authority, extending a patera in his right hand and holding a long sceptre upright in his left. An eagle stands at his feet to the lower left, facing the deity in a posture of devotion. To the upper right, a small architectural structure — likely a temple or shrine — is depicted in the field. The reverse legend ΝΙΚΑΙΕΩΝ is partially visible along the left margin of the coin. |
