Obverse description Laureate, draped bust of Caracalla facing right, rendered in the characteristic vigorous style of provincial Phrygian coinage. The emperor's portrait displays short-cropped hair beneath a laurel wreath, with naturalistic facial features including a prominent brow and strong jaw. The circular legend surrounds the bust, with the imperial titulature distributed along the outer field. The flan shows the slightly irregular edges typical of hand-struck provincial bronzes of the Severan period.
