Reverse description Homonoia type depicting Zeus Laodiceus standing right, holding an eagle in his extended right hand and a long sceptre in his left, confronting Asclepius standing facing with head turned left, the god of medicine leaning upon his serpent-entwined staff (kerykeion). The scene alludes to the formal concord (homonoia) struck between the cities of Laodicea ad Lycum and Pergamon. The reverse legend, distributed in the field and exergue, records the civic titles of both cities and the sequential issue number ΤΟ ΠΗ (88th issue).
