Obverse description Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust of Gallienus facing right, rendered in three-quarter front view, with paludamentum and segmented cuirass visible at the truncation. The emperor's effigy displays the characteristic portrait style of the Gallienic period, with a radiate laurel wreath and finely modelled facial features. Reverse description Tyche of Mytilene seated to the left upon a throne, wearing a turreted crown, holding a patera in her extended right hand and a cornucopia in her left; before her stands a Dionysiac herm. The composition reflects the city's civic pride and its association with Dionysus, patron deity of Lesbos. The reverse legend, divided across the field, records the name and office of the local magistrate responsible for the issue.
