Obverse description Draped bust of Plautilla facing right, her hair elaborately waved and coiled, adorned with a diadem. The empress is depicted in the provincial Greek style typical of Asia Minor civic coinage, with visible drapery folds over the shoulder. A circular Greek legend runs around the periphery of the flan.

Reverse description A tetrastyle temple with four columns shown in elevation, enclosing the standing frontal figure of Artemis Anaïtis, veiled and draped in a long chiton, her arms positioned at her sides in a hieratic pose. The architectural rendering reflects the civic pride of Hypaepa, a city renowned for its cult of Artemis Anaïtis. The legend naming the local strategos is distributed across the field and around the periphery in two lines.
