Reverse description The three Charites (Graces) depicted standing frontally as a group, nude or lightly draped, their arms entwined in the traditional pose. The two outer figures each hold an attribute — one bearing a corn ear and the other a flower — symbolizing fertility and beauty. The composition is rendered in a provincial style characteristic of Carian civic coinage, with the figures occupying the full field. A lengthy Greek magistrate legend in the exergue and surrounding field records the eponymous archons responsible for the issue.
