Obverse description Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust of Geta facing right, depicted as a young prince with curly hair. The effigy is rendered in the provincial Greek style typical of Cypriot issues of the Severan period. The circular Greek legend surrounds the portrait, reading ΑΥΤΟΚΡΑΤΟΡΑ ϹΕΠΤΙΜΙΟϹ ΓΕΤΑϹ, enclosed within a dotted border. The flan is irregular, consistent with hammered provincial bronze coinage of the early third century AD.
