Obverse description Diademed and draped bust of Otacilia Severa facing right, rendered in the provincial style typical of Lydian civic coinage of the mid-third century AD. The empress is depicted with her characteristic coiffure and wearing imperial drapery, presented as a formal effigy of the Augusta. A circular legend surrounds the bust in Greek characters. The flan is irregular and the surfaces show typical patination of a provincial bronze issue.
