| Obverse description | Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust of Emperor Maximinus I (Thrax) facing right, seen from the rear, with paludamentum visible over the left shoulder. The imperial effigy is rendered in the robust, military style characteristic of Maximinian portraiture. The surrounding field carries the Greek imperial titulature legend. The flan is irregular and the surfaces show typical patination consistent with provincial bronze coinage of the Severan era. |
