Obverse description Laureate head of Marcus Aurelius facing right, with traces of drapery visible at the truncation of the neck. The portrait exhibits the characteristic bearded effigy of the emperor rendered in the Antonine style, with finely detailed hair and laurel wreath. The encircling Greek legend runs along the upper periphery of the flan, partially legible due to wear. The coin shows a green-brown patina consistent with prolonged burial, with the portrait remaining recognizable despite surface corrosion.
