| Obverse description | Draped bust of Empress Crispina facing right, with elaborately coiffed hair arranged in waves and drawn up at the back of the head, rendered in the typical Antonine provincial style. The portrait displays fine drapery folds at the shoulder and décolletage, consistent with court portraiture of the period. The circumferential Greek legend ΚΡΙϹΠΕΙΝΑ ϹΕΒΑϹΤΗ runs around the bust in the field. |
