Reverse description Homonoia type depicting the cult statue of Artemis Ephesia, shown facing and rendered in the characteristic xoanon style with supports at her sides, juxtaposed with Sarapis standing left, his right hand raised and holding a sceptre in his left. Both figures are positioned on the deck of a galley with a row of oars visible along the hull, symbolising the maritime commercial bond and civic concord between Ephesus and Alexandria. The reverse legend encircles the composition.
