Reverse description An agonistic table depicted in three-quarter perspective, its legs and decorative frieze rendered in relief, bearing two agonistic crowns each inscribed with the name of the respective contest. The table surface is inscribed, and a ballot-urn (kleroterion) appears beneath the table on some specimens. The reverse legend, distributed across the field and table in multiple lines, identifies the city of Aphrodisias and the four Oikoumenikos games celebrated there: the Capitolia and the Pythia. The composition is enclosed within a beaded border typical of Carian provincial issues of the Gallienic period.
