| Obverse description | Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust of Antoninus Pius facing right, rendered in provincial style with a bearded portrait of moderate relief. The emperor's effigy displays the characteristic Antonine physiognomy with a full beard and layered laurel wreath. The encircling Greek legend reads ΑΥ ΚΑΙϹΑΡ ΑΔΡΙΑ ΑΝΤΩΝΕΙΝΟϹ, disposed around the field from lower left to lower right. The flan is irregular and slightly uneven, consistent with hand-struck provincial bronze coinage of the Lydian conventus. |
