| Obverse description | Draped bust of Herennia Etruscilla, diademed, facing right, set upon a crescent. The effigy is rendered in the provincial style typical of the Ionian mint at Samos, with the diadem and drapery folds clearly articulated. The encircling Greek legend reads ΕΡΕΝ ΕΤΡΟΥϹΚΙΛΛΑ ϹΕΒ, identifying the empress as Augusta. A dotted border frames the design. |
