| Obverse description | Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust of Caracalla facing right, viewed from the rear, rendered in the provincial style typical of Bithynian bronzes. The emperor's effigy displays a radiate laurel wreath, with visible paludamentum draped over the left shoulder and the cuirass decorated in relief. The circular Greek legend runs around the periphery of the flan, framed by a beaded border. The portrait exhibits the characteristic youthful features associated with Caracalla's early co-reign under Septimius Severus. |

| Reverse description | Heracles standing to the right, grasping with his raised right hand the horn of the Cretan Bull, one of his canonical Twelve Labours, in a dynamic pose conveying muscular exertion. The hero's left arm is extended as he subdues the beast. In the lower field, his attributes — the club and bow — are depicted as secondary emblems referencing his heroic identity. The composition reflects the civic pride of Heraclea Pontica, a city claiming Heracles as its mythological founder. The Greek legend is disposed in the field around the figural group. |
