| Obverse description | Bare-headed, draped and cuirassed bust of Geta as Caesar facing right, viewed from the rear, with youthful features rendered in the provincial Greek style. The portrait displays characteristic short hair with laurel wreath absent, consistent with Geta's depiction as Caesar prior to elevation to Augustus. The legend arcs around the bust in Greek characters, identifying the subject as Publius Septimius Geta Caesar. The flan is irregular in shape, typical of provincial bronze coinage of the Severan period. |
