Obverse description Draped and cuirassed bust of Caracalla facing right, wearing a laurel wreath, the portrait rendered in the provincial style typical of Cappadocian issues. The legend encircles the effigy, identifying the emperor by his imperial titles in Greek characters. The flan is irregular, as is characteristic of provincial bronze coinage of the Severan period.
