| Obverse description | Diademed and draped bust of Otacilia Severa facing right, rendered in the provincial style typical of the Conventus of Miletus. The empress's effigy is shown with her characteristic stephane diadem and elaborately draped garment. The encircling Greek legend identifies her by her full name. The flan is irregular and the surfaces heavily encrusted, consistent with the coin's ancient bronze fabric. |
