Obverse description Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust of Gaius Julius Verus Maximus Caesar facing right, rendered in three-quarter view from the rear, displaying the elaborate pteryges and musculature of the cuirass. The portrait is executed in the provincial style characteristic of the Milesian conventus, with a beaded border encircling the field.
