Obverse description Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust of Emperor Maximinus I (Thrax) facing right, portrayed in three-quarter rear view, a presentation type characteristic of his provincial coinage. The effigy shows the emperor in full military attire, with paludamentum visible at the shoulder. A partially legible Greek legend runs along the periphery of the flan. The coin exhibits a dark patina with significant surface wear consistent with extended circulation.

Reverse description Tetrastyle temple depicted in frontal elevation, featuring four columns supporting a richly decorated pediment with architectural ornamentation. Within the intercolumniation, a lighted altar is shown centrally, a motif frequently associated with civic religious cult imagery on provincial bronze coinage of Asia Minor. The reverse legend, partially legible, records the name of the local magistrate and the ethnic of the Hadrianopolitans. The overall composition reflects the standard provincial temple type employed by the mint of Hadrianopolis under Philomelium.
