Reverse description Apollo standing facing right, his right hand raised in a gesture of benediction or salutation, while his left arm rests upon a lyre set atop a tall column. Behind him, a tree is depicted with a serpent coiled around its trunk, an iconographic reference to the Apolline cult and its association with oracular and healing traditions. The composition reflects the local religious significance of Apollo at Germe. The reverse legend names the local magistrate responsible for the issue.
