Reverse description Artemis, the patron deity of Nysa, strides energetically to the right in a dynamic hunting pose, her right hand reaching back to draw an arrow from the quiver slung over her shoulder while her left hand extends forward holding the bow. A hound runs at her feet to the right, reinforcing the hunting iconography characteristic of Artemis Huntress. The Greek legend encircling the field records the name and title of the civic grammateus responsible for the issue, along with the ethnic of the Nysean people.
