Reverse description An eagle stands facing right with head turned to the left, holding a wreath in its beak, its wings partially spread and feathers rendered in detailed relief. A palm branch rises to the right of the eagle, a common symbol of victory in Alexandrian provincial coinage. To the left of the eagle, the regnal year inscription L ΙΒ (year 12) is prominently displayed in the field. The design is set on a plain, slightly granular exergual line, typical of Alexandrian tetradrachm-related bronze issues of this period.
