| Obverse description | Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust of Emperor Gallienus facing right, depicted from the rear in the characteristic three-quarter back view employed by certain Asiatic provincial mints. The effigy displays the emperor's paludamentum and armor in low relief, consistent with the provincial Greek bronze coinage of the period. A Greek imperial titulature legend encircles the bust within a dotted border, partially legible despite significant surface wear. |
