| Obverse description | Laureate bust of Domitian facing right, draped and wearing an aegis on the left shoulder, rendered in the provincial Greek style typical of the Ephesian mint. The effigy displays the emperor's characteristic broad features within a broad flan. A circular Greek legend surrounds the portrait in the field, reading The overall strike is typical of civic coinage from the Ionian conventus under the Flavian dynasty. |
