Obverse description Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust of Antoninus Pius facing right, rendered in the provincial style characteristic of Phrygian civic coinage. The emperor's portrait displays a wreath of laurel leaves framing the face, with drapery visible at the shoulder. The encircling Greek legend runs around the obverse field, identifying the emperor by his full titulature. The portrait is boldly modelled in relatively high relief for a provincial bronze issue.
