Reverse description A tetrastyle temple with four columns and a rounded pediment occupies the central field, enclosing a standing figure of Tyche facing left, wearing a kalathos (modius) on her head and holding a long sceptre in her right hand and a cornucopia in her left. To the right of the temple, Nike stands atop a tall column, facing left, in the act of crowning Tyche with a wreath. The civic legend ΓΑΒΗΝωΝ ΖΙc is distributed in the field, identifying the issuing city of Gaba and incorporating a local era date. The composition reflects the importance of the city's patron deity and civic pride typical of Levantine provincial bronze coinage of the Antonine period.
