Obverse description Radiate, draped, and cuirassed bust of Emperor Aemilian facing right, depicted from the rear in three-quarter perspective, a characteristic provincial rendering. The radiate crown features pronounced spikes framing the imperial effigy. The paludamentum (military cloak) is visible over the cuirass, conveying martial authority befitting the short-lived emperor. The encircling Greek legend names the emperor in his full titulature. The flan is irregular, as typical of provincial bronze coinage of the mid-third century.
