| Obverse description | Laureate and draped bust of Vespasian facing right, portrayed in the Roman imperial tradition with characteristic realistic physiognomy. A continuous Greek legend surrounds the effigy in the field, reading ΑΥΤΟΚΡΑΤΟΡΙ ΚΑΙΣΑΡΙ ΣΕΒΑΣΤΩ ΟΥΕΣΠΑΣΙΑΝΩ ΠΡΟ, identifying the emperor by his full titulature and referencing the Prusians as dedicants. The flan is irregularly shaped, typical of provincial bronze coinage of the Flavian period. |
