Obverse description Draped bust of Empress Salonina (Cornelia Salonina Augusta), wife of Gallienus, facing right, with hair elaborately waved and coiffed in the fashion typical of mid-3rd century imperial portraiture. The bust is rendered in moderate relief with visible drapery folds at the shoulder. A Greek legend encircles the portrait within a beaded border, naming the empress in her full imperial titulature.
