Obverse description Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust of Gallienus facing right, depicted from behind in the three-quarter rear view characteristic of later provincial coinage. The cuirass is rendered with visible detail beneath the paludamentum. A circular Greek legend surrounds the effigy within a beaded border, identifying the emperor by his full titulature.
