| Reverse description | Hygieia standing right, extending a patera from which a serpent rears to feed, faces Asclepius standing left, his body turned slightly toward her, leaning on a knotted serpent-staff (caduceus). The two divine figures of healing occupy the full reverse field in a confronted composition characteristic of provincial Phrygian bronzes. A Greek magistrate's legend disposed around the field identifies the archon Charidemos and the city of Cadi. |
