| Obverse description | Laureate and draped bust of Emperor Trajan facing right, with drapery visible on the left shoulder. The effigy is rendered in the characteristic Roman provincial style, with the laurel wreath clearly delineated atop the imperial portrait. The encircling Greek legend is distributed around the bust in the field, reading from upper left to lower right. The flan is irregular and shows the characteristic broad, flat fabric typical of Lydian provincial bronze coinage of the early second century AD. |

| Reverse description | Athena, helmeted and clad in a long chiton, stands facing with head turned to the left. In her extended right hand she holds a patera, while her left arm rests upon a large round shield set on the ground at her side; behind the shield an upright spear leans against her figure. The composition is a standard provincial rendering of the armed and sacrificing Athena type, a common civic reverse type for Thyatira during the Trajanic period. The ethnic legend encircles the figure in the field. |
