| Obverse description | Draped bust of Herennia Etruscilla, Augusta and consort of Trajan Decius, facing right, adorned with a diadem. The effigy is rendered in the provincial style characteristic of Carian civic coinage, with the hair elaborately arranged. The surrounding legend in Greek characters identifies the empress by her imperial title. The flan is irregular and the surface carries a patinated bronze finish typical of provincial issues of the mid-third century AD. |
