| Obverse description | Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust of Caracalla facing right, depicted from the rear, with the paludamentum fastened at the shoulder visible behind the cuirass. The peripheral Greek legend encircles the effigy, partially legible on this heavily worn and corroded specimen. The portraiture reflects the provincial die-cutting style characteristic of Bithynian civic coinage of the Severan period. |
