Reverse description A tetrastyle temple depicted in perspective, its four columns framing a cult statue of Artemis advancing to the right within the naos. The goddess is shown in her role as huntress, drawing an arrow from her quiver and holding her bow, a type closely associated with the sanctuary of Artemis at Hierocaesarea. The architectural rendering features a prominent entablature and pediment above the columns. The ethnic legend of the city is inscribed around the reverse type in Greek characters.
