Obverse description Radiate, draped, and cuirassed bust of Philip I facing right, viewed from the rear, rendered in the provincial Greek style characteristic of Bithynian civic coinage. The radiate crown is clearly articulated with pointed rays, and the cuirass is visible at the truncation. The Greek legend encircles the bust in the field, identifying the emperor by his full titulature.
