| Obverse description | Draped bust of Otacilia Severa facing right, her hair elaborately waved and coiled, adorned with a diadem. The effigy is rendered in the provincial style characteristic of Ephesian civic coinage of the mid-3rd century AD. The encircling Greek legend runs around the periphery of the flan.
