Obverse description Bare-headed, draped and cuirassed bust of Philip II as Caesar facing right, portrayed as a youth with close-cropped hair, the drapery rendered with fine incised folds over the right shoulder. The effigy is presented three-quarter from the rear, a characteristic convention of provincial Roman coinage of this period. A Greek legend encircles the bust within a beaded border.
