Reverse description Amaltheia, the divine goat-nurse of Zeus, stands facing with her head turned to the right, her weight supported by a tall sceptre held in her left hand, while her right arm cradles the infant Zeus. At her feet to the right a goat stands in profile facing right, its head turned back to gaze upward, referencing the mythological narrative of Zeus's nurturing on Mount Ida. The composition is rendered in a provincial Greek style typical of Phrygian civic coinage, with the ethnic legend ϹΥΝΝΑΔΕΩΝ inscribed around the reverse field.
