| Obverse description | Confronted busts of Maximinus I, laureate, draped and cuirassed, facing right, and his son Maximus Caesar, bare-headed, draped and cuirassed, facing left, arranged in antithetical composition. The imperial titulature runs continuously around both effigies in Greek legend. The portrait treatment reflects the provincial workshop style typical of Phrygia under the Severan–Gordian transitional period. |

The ethnic legend of the issuing city is inscribed in the exergual or peripheral field. |
