Reverse description Cybele, the Phrygian mother goddess, seated on a throne and borne upon a biga drawn by two lions moving to the left. The goddess holds a patera in her outstretched right hand and rests her left elbow upon a tympanum. An agonistic table bearing prize crowns and palm branches is depicted in the field before her, referencing the sacred games held at Cotiaeum. The reverse legend distributed across the field records the name and titles of the presiding civic magistrate.
