Obverse description Laureate, cuirassed bust of Emperor Marcus Aurelius, draped with paludamentum, facing right, depicted with a long beard with extended curls characteristic of his mature portraiture. The legend encircles the bust in Greek characters, reading ΑΥ ΚΑΙ Μ ΑΥΡΗΛΙΟϹ ΑΝΤΩΝΙΝΟϹ. The portrait is rendered in the typical provincial style of the Pergamene conventus, with bold relief and expressive facial detail. The field is plain, and the die work reflects competent local engraving traditions of mid-Antonine Lydia.
