Obverse description Draped and cuirassed bust of Lucius Verus facing right, bare-headed, with the emperor's characteristic beard and portraiture in the Antonine style. A circular Greek legend surrounds the bust, naming the emperor in full imperial titulature. The portrait is rendered in the bold provincial style typical of Achaean civic bronze coinage of the mid-second century AD.
