The obverse legend encircles the bust, reading Μ ΑΥΡ ΑΥΤ ΑΝΤΩΝΙΝοc, identifying the emperor under his Antonine name. The portrait is rendered in the provincial Greek style characteristic of Bithynian civic coinage of the early Antonine period.
